The Post-Meridian Radio Players will be reprising our original adaptation of “The Cask of Amontillado” at the Somerville Media Center’s pop-up performance space VOX POP in Assembly Row at 431 Artisan Way, Assembly Square, Somerville. The show is this Friday only at 7pm, with a Q-and-A session after the performance, and it's free, although RSVPs on EventBrite are appreciated.
This performance will be broadcast live on Somerville Cable Access TV, and streamed live on SCATV and on Facebook! (And eventually there’ll be video posted to YouTube, too!)
Naomi Ibasitas will be directing Mare Freed’s adaptation, which transplants Poe’s classic tale to the Roaring Twenties. Freed originally directed her own adaptation for PMRP as part of Tomes of Terror: Nevermore in 2014, and Ibasitas first directed it as part of Fort Point Theatre Channel’s Senses series on Halloween night in 2018.
