Tickets available now for our Hallowe’en show, Monster in the Mirror

Reserve or buy your tickets now for next month’s Hallowe’en show Monster in the Mirror, featuring original radio adaptations of “The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll & Miss Hyde” and “The Frankenstein Murders”. Perfornances are October 23d, 24th, 29th, 30th, and 32st, with both a matinée and an evening performance on Saturday the 24th, and a costume contest with prizes on Hallowe’en itself. Our Hallowe’en show for 2015 will be Monster in the Mirror, a two-parter featuring adaptations of Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein and Robert Louis Stevenson’s Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde. Sounds awesome, right? Who would not want to be a part of that? Well, you can be! Audition signups are now open! Tickets available for Night of the Super Sleuths / new CDs

Reserve or buy your tickets now for this month’s Summer Radio Mystery show, (Except When It’s a Matinée)! Perfornances are July 17, 18, 23, 24 and 25, with both a matinée and an evening performance on Saturday the 18th. You won’t want to miss the latest adventures of Hercule Poirot in “Death Wears a Mask”, Lady Molly of Scotland Yard in “The Frewin Miniatures”, and Sherlock Holmes in “The Adventure of Charles Augustus Milverton”! Fear not, last year’s adventures by the same three detectives are all now available for purchase (as digital downloads) in our CDbaby store. So listen to Hercule Poirot, Lady Molly, and Sherlock Holmes through headphones now, and come listen to them live later this month!

Call for scripts: radio-drama adaptation of Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein

This Hallowe’en, The Post-Meridian Radio Players will present Monster in the Mirror — a two-part show, featuring new adaptations of Jekyll & Hyde and Frankenstein! These are stories we have wanted to tell for a long time, and we are so, so excited! For this show, we are putting out a call for original adaptations (or extant public-domain adaptations) of Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein. Submissions are due by midnight, July 15th, and you can read the full call for scripts here (or Read more) to learn more about the script process, licensing terms, and our requirements for the show.

Audition for Night of the Super Sleuths!

Ever wanted to try voice acting? Or live sound effects? Come audition for our next thrilling summer mystery show, Night of the Super Sleuths, featuring three new tales of the adventures of Hercule Poirot, Sherlock Holmes, and Lady Molly of Scotland Yard! Audition slots are available on Monday, May 18, and Tuesday, May 19 (with possible callbacks on Thursday, May 21). Tickets available for our Spring Adventure Spectacular (and cast announced)

Congratulations to the cast and crew of our Spring Adventure Spectacular, featuring original adaptations of The Mysterious Traveler and The Scarlet Pimpernel. You can find them listed on the newly updated Spring Adventure Spectacular 2015 page.

Better yet, you can come see and hear them in person in our thrilling performance! Tickets are now available on our tickets page! You can either buy your ticket in advance or reserve a spot and pay at the door.

Auditions for the Spring Adventure Spectacular

We are delighted to announce auditions for our first Spring Adventure Spectacular, featuring original adaptations of Maurice Leblanc’s “The Mysterious Traveler,” in which Leblanc’s gentleman thief Arsène Lupin engages in intrigue on a train journey, and Emma Orczy’s The Scarlet Pimpernel, the famous novel about a seemingly foppish and slow-witted English baronet rescuing people sentenced to the guillotine during the Reign of Terror in postrevolutionary France. Auditions are January 5 and 6 (with callbacks, if needed, on the 8th), and you can be a part of these adventures, as a voice actor or Foley sound-effects performer! Update:Paper audition forms are now available to download and print. You’ll want to print these and bring them to your audition.
